Thursday 8th May 2025 will mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and this is known as Victory in Europe Day, or VE Day. Street parties, afternoon teas, and other celebrations will be held. Cathedrals will join churches, local councils and a host of different organisations to mark this historic moment.
